The title revalidation process at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi complies with normative ordinance number 022, of December 13, 2016, as well as other relevant legislation.
NOTE: Bring all original documents accompanied by a simple two-sided copy, or only certified copies in a Brazilian registry.
I. Request addressed to the Rector requesting recognition, according to the attached model;
II. Original of the Diploma or certificate containing the visa of the Brazilian Consulate based in the country where it was issued;
III. Original of the transcript or document corresponding to the title containing the visa of the Brazilian Consulate based in the country where it was issued;
IV. Diploma related to the Undergraduate Course or document proving completion of the course. If this was done abroad, a visa from the Brazilian Consulate based in the country where it was issued will be required;
V. Original of the identity document (RG for Brazilians and RNE or valid passport for foreigners) or of the protocol for the application for registration with the Federal Police Department;
VI. Exemplary of the thesis, dissertation or equivalent work, bound;
VII. Original of the Marriage Certificate, in the case of an applicant whose name was changed after the diploma was issued, due to marriage;
VIII. Exemplary of the thesis, dissertation or equivalent work, bound;
IX. Declaration by the student about the time of effective stay in the Foreign Higher Education Institution;
X. Curriculum vitae of the supervisor of the dissertation or thesis;
XI. Copy of the minutes of defense of the dissertation or thesis, with identification of the examining board and the result of the evaluation, or of an equivalent academic evaluation document;
XII. Documents provided by the institution that issued the diploma, containing general information about the Institution, as well as data and course characteristics related to selection procedures, deadlines and requirements for the defense of a dissertation or thesis;
XIII. Visa for foreigners;
XIV. Copy of passport, with information about entering and leaving the country where you carried out your studies;
XV. Proof of residence in the host country of the course.
In the case of Diplomas obtained in Courses taken in Institutions that do not require formal credits in subjects, the interested party must instruct the process with data referring to the Institution of origin, duration and characteristics of the course, officially provided by the Institution itself without the obligation of the Consular Visa;
The documents referred to in items II to XVI of item 3.1 must be accompanied by photocopies that do not need to be authenticated at the Registry, upon presentation of the original;
France and Argentina have agreements with Brazil that dispense with consular visas on school documents;
The documentation must be delivered personally by the interested party to the Secretariat of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program, or by his legal representative, by means of a simple power of attorney.
The Postgraduate Commission, during the analysis of the process, may request other documents and / or translations, to resolve doubts or controversies that prevent the proper instruction and the consequent decision.
EVALUATION PROCESS BY THE GRADUATE COMMITTEE
The Graduate Committee will evaluate the documents delivered for analysis and issue a detailed opinion on the feasibility of recognizing or equivaling the activities and work submitted by the candidate within 45 days, counting from the date of the submission of the referred protocol. documentation in the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program.
If the request is denied, the decision of the Graduate Commission can be appealed against the decision, which must be delivered within a maximum period of ten days, counted from the date of acknowledgment of the decision to be appealed.
If the request is rejected in all instances of the University, the CNE Chamber of Higher Education may appeal. (ver § 3º do Art. 4º da Resolução CNE/CES nº 1/2001).
After the delivery of the documents, the candidate must wait for an e-mail sent by the secretariat of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program with the payment slip.
The fee to be collected must be observed in the fee notice in effect at the time of the request. The payment deadline will be 10 (ten days).

After evaluation, if the recognition is approved by the University, the diplomas sector will request the delivery of the original Diploma by the candidate for revalidation of the document.
The deadline for completion of the revalidation process by the diplomas sector will be up to 180 days for regular processing and up to 60 days for simplified processing, counting from the date of delivery of the necessary documentation.
